Lid: BPA-free. Hand wash only with water and a mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive sponges.
The hermetic seal of the lid is guaranteed only for the first use. A lid in good condition can be reused to close the jar and for storage, but it cannot be reused for vacuum sealing and will not ensure an airtight seal after the first use.
Never use the lid if it shows deformities, rust, or corrosion.
