Before starting vacuum preservation, regardless of the chosen method, jars and lids must be sanitized. The wide rim allows easy hand access inside the jar for thorough cleaning.
Jar: dishwasher safe.
Lid: BPA-free. Hand wash only with water and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive sponges.
The airtight seal of the cap is guaranteed only on the first use of the lid.
A lid in good condition can be reused for sealing and storing the jar but cannot be reused for vacuum preservation and will not guarantee airtight sealing after the first use.
Never use the lid if it shows deformations, rust, or corrosion.
